West Ham survived a Wolves fightback to move up into the Champions League as Jesse Lingard inspired them to victory at Molineux. The Hammers, missing Declan Rice after he was ruled out for at least a month with a knee injury, raced into a 3-0 lead in a breathtaking first half. Goals from Lingard, Pablo Fornals and substitute Jarrod Bowen put West Ham in dreamland but Leander Dendoncker pulled a goal back for Wolves just before half-time and Fabio Silva narrowed the deficit further to set up a nervy finish.
